Well, I had stuff to say about last weekend, and now a week has gone by and this past weekend is fresher in my mind.
So, on the 6th, I went to the System Shit CD release at the Khyber. I love seeing punk bands at the Khyber. That "Oh God" show with the broken window was the final kick in the pants to KC and I to start a band where we can have that kind of crazy fun. It's too bad the Khyber's closing in a month. I'd love to play there again. I "moshed" that night for the first time in ages. I don't really "mosh" and I don't really know what it is, hence the quotation marks. I just jump in the middle and bounce off people. Sometimes, I push people, but not last week. There was a bit of a fight. It broke out right behind me. Without thinking, I jumped back, onto the stage. When I realized everyone was okay, I realized I was in the middle of Gunt. But, it seemed like the safest place to jump.
Saturday, the Hold played Stage Nine with Gilbert Switzer (who got an awesome review of the show in the Gazette) and Die Brucke (who I really enjoyed). I felt a little detached that night, and it barely feels like the show even happened. As long as I looked tough. That's what matters. I was posing with that brace on my wrist. It had nothing to do with landing weird in the pit the night before.
I spent Sunday and Monday putting together an entertainment unit, or whatever it's called. It's a piece of furniture to put my TV, DVD player, VCR, PS2, mini stereo and more, all in one neat place. I really enjoyed putting it together, even though I screwed up twice and had to use wood glue. Reading my baby book, it makes sense that I liked this work so much.
The week passed by as they usually do.
This past weekend was spent at the studio with Dog Day. It was very enjoyable. Sometimes I wish we'd gotten more done, but then I remember we did get a lot done in the time we had. I really like "my" new/old synth. It can make some really cool sounds. Some of my favourites sound like classic cartoons while my real favourites sound like old horror movies. I think it may even be what was used for many old horror movies. Those sounds make me think of the Shining. Another interesting tidbit about it is that it's (apparently) the (or an) instrument used by Joy Division. Not mine specifically, but the same model.
Here are some pictures of me getting one of my favourite Christmas presents ever. My first organ:

It's rare to find a picture of me with a huge, genuine smile.
Two years ago, I was enthralled by a fake fireplace.

My special interests (by my 1st birthday): taking things apart and putting them back together. Walking and getting into everything. Loves books and Sesame Street. Very imitative on words and sounds. Loves being outside.

This has inspired me to scan and post a kid picture of me. I am on an insane mailing spree. If I send you and KC something, where should I send it?
