I have today off and I woke up early, so I'm sitting around doing all the internet stuff I haven't done much lately. I've been spending my time doing things IRL. I got hired for real, so I'm no longer a temp, so I have to actually worry about the deadlines, and recently, that means overtime. I spent much of September and October recording the new Dog Day record. Now that Seth and Nancy are home from their mixing trip, we're getting ready for shows. We're playing Truro this Friday. So, I'm practicing every couple days. I watch TV and movies. I listen to music and go to shows (too drunk, of course). I play board games and video games. I snuggle, and have good conversations, and great sex. I'm supposed to go to my place and sort through some of my crap today (but first, I have a date with Mario). It'll take me awhile to figure out what to do with all my shit to take that next step. I don't know who will replace me at Crooked House. It has to be someone great. I've been reading a bit again. I finished that Wicked book and am now enjoying the Time Traveler's Wife.

I guess I have the freedom to do all of this because of the many sacrifices of those in previous generations.

My life is completely different than it was even just a few months ago, which was different than a few months before that. I'm positively thrilled.

Last year, I was in California writing about BC (I guess people do still do acid) and was trying to stay happy amidst the unproven bullshit that had me so upset.
