Happy Separation Day.

That's what I coined it at work. I don't know what it sounds like. Maybe it's too harsh. But it's true. Heather kept calling it "NoVorce Day". She said it was because it's not our anniversary, but we're not divorced, so she doesn't know what to call it. I said "Separation Day." I explained that probably the main reason I couldn't move on, even though, ultimately, I asked for this, was because I was waiting for today. See, we broke up so close to our anniversary. I guess it was Seth's birthday, although I didn't really know it was over for two more days.

Separation Day.

The day I really face it. It's not my anniversary. Not anymore. It's just another day.

Today was wonderful. And I'd love to thank all the friends who helped that happen. And I'd like to apologize for taking attention and making today all about me. Typically, a person only deserves that on their birthday.

Last year I was going 'home' and it was positive because I would see my kitties. I still wish to expand my connection with Jen.
