"You're eclectic."
I know.
"Do you know what the word eclectic means?"
YES. That's why I said 'I know' when you told me I was eclectic. I learned that word a long time ago.
So, I was home for a week. It was a good week. I got to see almost everyone I really wanted to. Almost, but not quite. I also got to see some people I could live without, like the crazy old man talking down to me about his vocabulary. I'm still worn out. I can't believe we're only one third of the way through the trip. I didn't think I wanted to come home yet, but now that I'm here, I realize I'm not ready to go again so quickly. It'll be fun, though. Some of it will be difficult. Like the part about me not having enough money for rent while I'm gone, and still needing to find a way to eat. That's why I packed away as much as I could in Europe while it was all free, and going into the garbage if we didn't eat it.
This is the first year of the Pop Explosion that I've participated in that I haven't gone to at least one show almost every night. It's not that I didn't want to, so much as it's more that I'm tired, lazy, and wanted to spend my time in my junkyard. I'm going to be at a lot of bars watching a lot of bands in the coming weeks. But, I'm very jealous of anyone who gets to do/attend something today.
Well, I have to finish packing. Bye Halifax. I'll miss you. See you in December.
