Ah, band rooms with internet and band members with computers. So nice. I can't wait until I somehow have my own.

We saw the Pussycat Dolls tonight. well, one of them wasn't there, but it didn't seem to matter. Her name is Nicole was. They covered Tainted Love. We weren't allowed "in" because Nancy's underage, but I soon realized that was just the drinking area. We had an alright spot. We only stayed for a few songs. We had to get back to our own venue to get ready for our own show.

I was a lucky girl today. After our laundry and music store excursion (KC needed drumsticks), we returned to the hotel. I turned on the TV and Star Trek: the Next Generation was . No big deal, on the surface. I go in and out of phases of liking the show and being bored by it. But, it was the episode when Tasha Yar. So basically, the favourite one of my childhood. Looking back, I can't figure out why I hated her so much as a child. I think it probably had something to do with geeky little me having a crush on Data.

We've worked things out. I think. I'm nervous about it. My fear has me putting too much pressure on myself, which comes out as passive-aggressive cruelty towards him. Most of it is a result of my twisted sense of humour, but still it's mean. You always hurt the ones you love, or some cliched bullshit. Admitting it to myself, and to him, at least proves that I'm aware. So I can make an effort to be better. This could be good.

Three years ago, I was happy to be missing out on Thanksgiving. Some things never change.

  • The episode when she dies. That's an important part of the sentence I neglected. There were lots of episodes with her, but only one where I was fortunate enough to watch her die.
