Let The Bad Times Roll- Paul Westerberg

Well, the good times hide
And so do I
Out of my control
I dig a hole

I'm gonna let the bad times roll
I'm gonna let the bad times roll

If that's all the time
That you got
Then I'd rather not
Waste my life on hold

I'm gonna let the bad times roll
I'm gonna let the bad times roll

Just add water
I'm disappointed
Just like my father
I miss the point
I need someone
Not infection
Just add water
I'm disappointed

The good times hide
So will I
Watch the world roll by
From my hole

I'm gonna let the bad times roll
I'm gonna let the bad times roll

Last year, Gilbert Switzer and Spinoza played at Stage Nine.

  • Did you write these lyrics, Crystal? They're great!

  • I was just thinking today about how I don't really title the songs I post, and that I should change that because people will think I'm trying to pass it off as mine. Then I come home, and someone has.

  • I didn't think you were trying to pass off as yours something that wasn't.

Westerberg is such an amazing lyricist. What song is that?

  • And by 'what song is that', I meant what album is it on?

  • It's on his solo CD 'Stereo'

  • you "Earth people" confuse me.

you could use your superior powers to save the whales, yet instead continue to promote the barbarism of your culture.

in conclusion, i would like to highlight the importance of "eating" carrots rectally.

    thanks for your patience.

  • jono: I knew you didn't think I was trying to pass it off as mine, but rather you were just questioning who wrote them. huskermould is correct, it's from "Stereo."

ling-ling san: Once again, I am nothing but confused by your post. So, I'll just shrug, say whatever and continue on with my life. As soo as I ask you what the FUCK this is:

  • I changed my mind. I think Black Eyed Peas would be better, here you go:

What you gon' do with all that junk?
All that junk inside that trunk?
I'ma get, get, get, get you drunk,
Get you love drunk off my hump.
What you gon' do with all that ass?
All that ass inside them jeans?
I'ma make, make, make, make you scream
Make you scream, make you scream.
What you gon do with all that junk?
All that junk inside that trunk?
I'ma get, get, get, get you drunk,
Get you love drunk off this hump.
What you gon' do wit all that breast?
All that breast inside that shirt?
I'ma make, make, make, make you work
Make you work, work, make you work.

  • Um, okay. It still doesn't make sense, but I often don't make sense when "on the booze."

I didn't mean to yell. I just was baffled to discover my blog on another location. It even publishes when I publish, and I find it highly creepy. Well, creepy, if it were someone other than you. You are an archivist.

How did I find it? Very easily.

I'll post some Britney Spears lyrics if and/or when I ever hear some I relate to on a day I don't feel like writing my own thoughts. As for Black Eyed Peas, I've never willfully listened to them and I don't need to post lyrics if you're gonna do it for me.
