"I'm so glad you guys are here. Earlier, this guy who couldn't speak English very well came over. 'You see here?' he asked. Sitting here? Yes, I'm sitting here. 'No, seen here?' Oh, sing. No, I'm not singing. 'You looking for boyfriend?' No. 'Oh, you like girls?' Yeah, that's it. 'You look nice. I'm looking for girlfriend."

Those are sort of the first words I heard when I walked into Hell. Gross. I love his assumption. If you're not interested in the particular guy talking to you, you must like girls.

I eventually moved to the smoking room. I talked with two other girls. They were against the wall. I had my back to some guys while I spoke. Within seconds, I heard "Hi, ladies. How are you doing?" while some stranger with an accent (a greasy one, not a hot one), rubbed my arms. I turn to look at him, to figure out what's going on, and he's moving in, about to kiss my neck. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING? I screamed at him, with my boyfriend very close by. He replied by asking if I had a cigarette. "Yeah, I have this cigarette." And I turned back around. A few moments later, his friend taps me. "Hey, you weren't offended by that, were you?" Yeah, I'm generally offended when strangers start rubbing me.

And now I don't have a bass.

  • That's a good question. Hookerblood used it, and no one came home with it.

  • Yeah, alf, it IS creepy.

I re-read my post and realized it wasn't clear that the greasy guy who approached my friend was the SAME guy that touched me in the smoking room.

  • Weird. I've never had any problems in the past 2 years that I've been playing Hell. Oh well. I have no problem NEVER playing there again.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm not sure if we'll need one for recording. We're not doing the bass tracks tomorrow, so I'll get back to you by Saturday.

  • Thanks, Meghan. I feel alot better with you on my side. We could've taken the guy, had we wanted to. And yeah, I'm pretty sure the guy that groped you was the same one. He got almost every girl there.
