So, I've been home for about a week and a half and I realized that I should write about the trip before I forget it. I can already feel the memory starting to fade. All I've said to people so far were "it was great/awesome/lots of fun", "we went camping", and "I lost my mind a little bit."

We left early Monday afternoon. The last stop, after loading the van, was to pick up Christian somewhere where they were working on the Radarfame CD. We drove and drove, taking pee and smoke breaks. It was decided that we would take turns picking cd's (and that we would listen to the whole cd) and take turns in the front seat. We left Halifax with the scoundrels (me, Mark and KC) in the back seat. We were isolated in the back seat, with a row of gear, bags, and groceries between us and the two in the front.

We ended up stopping at Motel Ideal, in Cabano, Quebec. There, we got familiar with the camera, the scoundrels drank from big beers we got at a grocery store. We worried about that fucking lady and we fell asleep watching CTV News. It would later be referred to as the best sleep on tour, but I didn't sleep well; the sheets smelled like they had been sprayed with Lysol instead of being washed. We joked that they were probably covered in Hooker Blood.

We left in the morning, sneaking around to not be seen by that lady, and drove to Montreal. It was my 25th birthday. I think Christian was the first person to wish me a happy birthday. KC remembered later when I sulked around Montreal. We got to town a little early, so we got to kill some time. Chik took a bit of a nap, while KC and Mark went for 3 dollar coffees, and Christian and I went to use the internet.
