I think I'm coming down with a cold. The way my throat feels right now, it can't be just allergies or too much smoking.
I feel like I miss my friends. My dear, old friends are far away or at least out of touch, and it's been awhile since I've seen my near (proximity-wise) friends. I'll have to make the best out of this weekend. The Seahorse should be a fun time on Friday. Alfred and I are going up against each other at a game of pool to prove once and for all who is the worst pool player. I think it'll be me, but I can pull off some nice fluke shots sometimes.
I watched the Office 2nd season twice this week. Oh boy. Poor Dawn.
I think I managed to prevent my hand from getting infected, even though there was still pieces of rock in it yesterday. KC's gotten too used to me falling down. I showed him my knees yesterday. The left one is bruised, and the right one is black, blue, purple, and yellow. "That doesn't look like anything. I thought you were going to show me something." That doesn't look like anything to you? "Well, it looks like a bruise." Yeah, I was wearing very thick pants.
I need to call Jon Epworth today. I think I'm about to screw them over again. We were supposed to practice tonight at 7:30. Now, I'm working until 9:30. In Hell on Tuesday, Jon said something and I said yes. I think it was tonight. I told KC yesterday. "Did you say yes?" Yeah. I thought we were changing practice to Friday. "We have to practice for the show on Wednesday."
I really don't know what's going on.
I'm getting used to drinking black coffee, with sugar. I used to despise it, but we run out of milk or cream all the time. 2 weeks ago, I drank it black all week. Today, it actually tastes good.
I dyed my hair again the other day, but only 2 people noticed and one of them works at a salon. That's ok. I didn't do it to be noticed. I picked copper blonde. I did it to tone down the orangeness and get rid of the yellow roots. It's looks more 'natural' now.
I think I'm going to the Attic tonight. The Hemingways are playing. We want to talk to Ryan about a show for August, before we leave. There's no way I'll be getting as drunk as I did Tuesday. Mitchell, thank you for the beer. I'm sorry I spilled most of it (and a glass of water, thanks for that too) all over your floor.
