A headline from the cover of a Wall Street Journal, sometime last week:

At Long Last, Gum is Legal in Singapore, But There Are Strings. Only Pharmacists Can Sell it, And They Take Names

I was happy to read this, but I didn't actually read the article. Those poor people have been living gum-less for ages. They still better not spit it out on the street. Those pharmacists are keeping track of the chewers. But I'm sure they won't be bad. Nobody wants a caning.
